I Can’t Do That

Okay so I already made one post today but my son just made me laugh my butt off.

“Mom I can’t go to sleep because of all the scary stuff in my brain.”

“Why don’t you try imagining taking all the scary things out of your head and putting them in a box?”

“NO! I can’t do that I can only shift them and if I do I have to pay a hundred dollars!”

I have no idea where that came from or how to help him at that point I just kissed him and told him to try and sleep. What do you do when your kids pull something so far out of left field as a reason for why they can’t sleep? I clueless.

  1. My daughter told me once she couldn’t sleep because it was too dark in her room. I went and found her a second nightlight. She then thanked me and put a sleeping mask over her eyes…what??
